Configure Service Account

Service Accounts in ION are used internally by ION Connection Points to call ION APIs.

Prerequisites

• An existing IFS user with permission to call ION APIs

Step-by-step guide

1. Go to IFS in Infor OS
   1. (Old UI) UserMenu ⇒ User Management
      
   2. (New UI) Menu ⇒ OS ⇒ Security
      
2. Click on the waffle icon on the left and open Service Accounts
   
   
3. Create a new service account by click on the ➕ icon to add a new item
   
4. Write a description of the service account and then add an IFS to the the service account
   
5. Click the disk icon to save
   
6. When you save for the first time, you will be prompted to download credentials
   This is the only chance you get to download the credentials. Keep the file safe!
