Big Update: Runtime Environments, Smarter App Previews, and Improved Workflow Flexibility

This release introduces major improvements to workflow runtime configuration, App Builder usability, and environment-aware integrations. From advanced runtime environment support to device preview emulation and smarter workflow execution, these updates make the platform more flexible, scalable, and easier to work with across different environments.

Workflows

Advanced Runtime Environment Configuration

  • Environment-Aware Workflow Execution:
    Workflows now support advanced runtime configuration where connections are mapped per environment and automatically resolved at execution time. This works across M3, Transform, and REST API steps.

  • Runtime Environment Selector:
    A new environment selector is now available when running workflows configured with runtime environments.

  • Runtime Context in Expressions:
    Connection aliases can now be referenced directly in expressions using: $context.runtime.connections.<alias>

Improved JSONata Editor

  • Autocomplete for Runtime Variables:
    The JSONata expression editor now automatically suggests runtime context variables and configured environment connections, making it easier to build dynamic expressions.

Workflow UX Improvements

  • Inactive Workflow Indicator:
    Inactive workflows are now clearly displayed with a muted appearance and an “Inactive” label in the workflow list.

  • Activation Feedback:
    Activating or deactivating workflows now shows a confirmation toast for clearer feedback.

  • Excel Tooltip Overflow Fix:
    Fixed an issue where Excel mapping tooltips could create unwanted horizontal page scrolling.

App Builder

Device Preview Emulator

  • Preview Across Devices:
    Applications can now be previewed in desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts directly inside App Builder.

  • Custom Device Presets:
    Save reusable custom device configurations across sessions.

  • Tablet & Mobile Rotation:
    Mobile and tablet previews now support device rotation.

Redesigned Build & Preview Experience

  • Cleaner build and preview layouts with an improved prompt input experience

  • New split save button with options to:

    • Save and continue building

    • Save and exit Build Mode

  • Richer version selector displaying version state, creation date, and author details

App Bridge Enhancements

  • Sign Out Support:
    Apps can now trigger sign-out actions directly through the App Bridge and redirect users back to the sign-in page.

  • Workflow Environment Passthrough:
    Apps can now pass runtime environment names when invoking workflows, enabling support for scenarios such as test and production environments within the same application.

SSO & Identity Providers

  • Edit Existing Identity Providers:
    Existing SSO identity providers can now be edited directly from the company settings page, in addition to being created or removed.

Connections

  • New Connection Types:
    Added support for two new connection systems:

    • LN for Infor LN integrations

    • Vince Live for cross-instance connectivity

  • Alphabetical Sorting:
    Connection systems are now sorted alphabetically for easier navigation.

Access Management

  • Clearer Admin Access Display:
    Users with admin-level permissions now display “FULL ACCESS” instead of listing individual roles, making permission levels easier to understand at a glance.

M3 Workflow Builder

Runtime Environment Support

  • Workflows generated through the M3 Workflow Builder now support runtime environment configuration and automatic environment-based connection resolution.

Client Field Stability Improvements

  • Re-adding M3 API fields no longer creates duplicate client form entries. Existing fields are now updated correctly in place.
