Big Update: Safer Access Management, Smoother Workflows, and More Reliable Dashboards
This release focuses on improving reliability and reducing friction across the platform. From preventing accidental lockouts to making workflows easier to manage and dashboards behave more predictably, these updates help you work with greater confidence and fewer surprises.
Access Management
- Prevent Accidental Lockouts:
You can no longer deactivate your own account from the user list. The option is hidden for the currently logged-in user, helping avoid unintended access issues. - Cleaner Role Assignment:
Only active roles are now shown when assigning roles to users, making the selection clearer and easier to manage.
Workflows
- Manage Design Files from the Workflow Menu:
Upload, download, or remove Excel design files directly from the workflow menu without navigating into individual steps. - Cleaner Run Experience:
- Duplicate input fields are now consolidated when multiple API calls use the same input.
- Removed filters no longer leave behind orphaned fields in the run dialog.
- Clearer Error Handling:
- Saving an M3 API step without transactions now shows a clear message.
- Missing values in filter constants are now flagged with helpful prompts instead of failing silently.
- More Reliable Excel Mapping:
- Outdated column mappings are automatically cleaned up when underlying fields change.
- Template column headers are preserved when mapping outputs.
- The Excel step now displays more rows by default for easier configuration.
- Improved Workflow Editor:
- Error messages are easier to read, with better formatting and spacing.
- Switching triggers to “Client” mode now preserves existing field configurations.
Dashboards
- Improved Search Behavior:
- Search widgets connected to workflows now correctly pass input values.
- Table widgets using data from other widgets now support proper local search and pagination.
- More Accurate Widget States:
Infobox widgets no longer display incorrect states when no value range matches — they now show no state as expected.
General Fixes
- Restored missing status indicators across users, roles, API clients, webhooks, and schedules.
- Fixed issues where dialogs did not consistently close when clicking cancel or close.
- Custom Table queries now automatically display additional returned columns, even if they weren’t part of the original definition.
This update improves consistency, reduces unexpected behavior, and makes everyday tasks across workflows and dashboards more predictable and efficient.
