Big Update: App Builder, More Control, Faster Dashboards, and Smarter Workflows

This release brings powerful new capabilities across Access Management, Dashboards, App Builder, and Workflows — along with thoughtful UX improvements that make the platform feel faster and more intuitive. From tenant management to workflow performance enhancements, everything is designed to give you more control with less friction.

Access Management

  • Improved Sign-In Flow: Authenticated users are now redirected automatically, and permissions are fully loaded before post-login navigation, eliminating flashes of unauthorized content.

Dashboards & Widgets

  • “Load on Init” Toggle: Workflow-based widgets can now be configured to delay data loading until explicitly triggered, improving dashboard performance.

  • Enum Dropdowns with Defaults: Table widgets using workflow data sources now support enum fields with dropdown selectors and configurable default values based on schema definitions.

  • Live Chart Color Updates: Changes to chart series or background colors are now applied instantly without requiring a full reload.

  • Data Source Indicator: Widget headers now display an icon with a tooltip showing the active data source (table, workflow, etc.).

  • Filter Description Improvement: The “Connected with AND/OR” label now appears only when multiple filter groups exist.

  • Richer Schema Definitions: Workflow widget configuration now supports schema definition expressions for improved data typing.

App Builder

  • Build Prompt History: View and reapply prompts from previous build sessions for generated applications.

  • New searchTable API: Generated apps can now use OpenSearch Query DSL for aggregations, full-text search, and sorting.

  • Expanded Iframe Sandbox: Generated apps now support forms, popups, downloads, and modals.

  • Enhanced User Context: getUserInfo now returns the full user object instead of a limited subset.

Workflows

  • Runtime Lookup Execution: Trigger lookup workflows directly from the run screen with auto-populated fields and result selection.

  • Lookup Editor Enhancements: Improved workflow selection, duplicate name validation, read-only field handling, and clearer unmap support.

  • Excel Editor Performance Improvements:

    • Loading overlay for bulk field operations (50+ fields).

    • Automatic expansion of large column ranges.

    • Memory cleanup on component unmount.

  • Excel Cell Editing: Primary header cells are now inline-editable, with double-click access to a parameter selector overlay.

  • Auto-Select M3 Connection: Automatically selects the M3 connection for the active environment during workflow execution.

  • Improved File Download Handling: Correct resolution of input snapshot file keys with tenant prefixes.

  • Reliable Step Deletion Refresh: Workflow view now refreshes consistently after deleting steps.

  • M3 API Validation Update: Unmapped required inputs now trigger warnings instead of blocking saves.

UI & UX Improvements

  • Consistent Search & Action Bar Layout: Search inputs now appear before action buttons across all list pages for a unified experience.

  • Back Navigation Buttons: Added to role, API client, and tenant detail pages.

  • Environment Code Validation: Relaxed from exactly four letters to one–four letters.

  • User Lookup Improvement: Not-found checks now use email instead of requiring both first and last name.

  • Table Styling Consistency: Pagination border radius standardized across all tables.
