Workflow Flexibility, Smarter Mapping, and Improved AI Apps
This release introduces several usability improvements across workflows, AI Apps, and platform administration. From more flexible workflow copying to cleaner Excel mapping management and enhanced diagnostics, these updates help reduce configuration errors and make everyday work more efficient.
Workflows
More Flexible Workflow Copying
- Choose Workflow Type When Copying:
When creating a copy of a workflow, you can now select whether the new workflow should be a Standard or Express workflow. - Configure Long Running Mode:
Long running mode can now be enabled or disabled directly in the copy dialog, allowing copied workflows to be configured independently of the original.
Improved Workflow Group Management
- Duplicate Name Validation:
Creating a new workflow group now checks for existing group names before saving, helping prevent accidental duplicates and improving organization.
AI Apps
More Images Per Message
- Increased Attachment Limit:
AI Apps now support up to 3 images per message, making it easier to provide additional context and richer inputs when interacting with applications.
Connections & Environments
Better Error Visibility
- Improved Connection Validation Messages:
Validation errors on the Connections page now display the actual backend error message instead of a generic error notification, making troubleshooting significantly easier.
More Resilient Environment Handling
- Graceful Handling of Deleted Environments:
Editing a connection that references an environment no longer available in the environment list will now display the original environment information rather than failing silently.
Excel & M3 API Improvements
Smarter Mapping Cleanup
- Automatic Reference Cleanup:
Removing columns, cells, or M3 API fields from Excel mappings now correctly removes associated references in both directions.
This applies to:
- Vertical column mappings
- Horizontal cell mappings
This prevents stale mappings and orphaned references from remaining after workflow reconfiguration.
Improved Excel Experience
- The Grouped By button is now only shown for input workflows where it is relevant.
- The M3 Filter target selector is now only displayed when applicable to the workflow type.
- The column header menu is now always accessible instead of only appearing on hover.
- The mapping information popover now resets correctly when reopened.
Platform Improvements
Cleaner Configuration Experience
Several workflow and Excel configuration elements are now displayed only when relevant, reducing visual clutter and making configuration screens easier to navigate.
These improvements provide greater flexibility when managing workflows, reduce mapping-related issues, and improve visibility when troubleshooting integrations and connections.
