Big Update: Easier API Configuration, Smarter Excel Handling, and Improved Workflow Reliability
This release focuses on simplifying workflow configuration while improving reliability, usability, and security across the platform. From guided REST API setup experiences to automatic Excel template generation and stronger validation handling, these updates make workflows easier to build and safer to operate.
Workflows
Simplified REST API Configuration
- Guided REST API Setup:
REST API workflow steps now offer a guided configuration experience using structured input fields instead of requiring manual JSON editing. This makes API setup faster, easier, and less error-prone.
Improved Data Lake Configuration
- User-Friendly Data Lake Setup:
Data Lake workflow steps now include a cleaner configuration form with:- Connection selection
- Query editing
- Optional file output settings
This provides a much more intuitive setup experience for Data Lake integrations.
Better M3 API Visibility
- Constant Values Displayed Directly:
Constant values configured in M3 API transactions are now shown directly in the UI, making transaction setups easier to review and troubleshoot.
Enhanced Excel Support
- Increased Excel Capacity:
The Excel component now supports up to 40 rows, enabling larger datasets and more advanced mapping scenarios. - Automatic Template Generation:
If no template file is uploaded for an Excel step, the platform now automatically generates a default template to ensure downloads continue working without interruption.
Administration
Tenant Re-Indexing from the UI
- Self-Service Re-Indexing:
Administrators can now trigger tenant re-indexing directly from the application without requiring backend assistance.
