Big Update: More Reliable Workflows, Smarter Excel Mapping, and Expanded App Builder History

This release focuses on improving workflow reliability, refining the Excel mapping experience, and making App Builder easier to debug and manage. Alongside several important bug fixes, we’ve also introduced new capabilities that improve visibility and consistency across the platform.

Workflows

Critical Fixes

  • Workflow Reactivation Fixed:
    Resolved an issue where workflows could not be activated again after being deactivated.
  • Excel Source Mapping Fix:
    Fixed issues where mappings did not work correctly when Excel files were used as the source.

Workflow & Excel Improvements

  • Duplicate Table Names Removed:
    Fixed duplicate table names appearing in Events and Table Updater dropdown selections.
  • Template Upload Mapping Improvements:
    Mapping is now correctly applied based on the selected mapping row when uploading template files.
  • Excel Mapping Cleanup:
    Removing configured Excel mappings now correctly removes related references from the M3 API configuration.
  • Improved Formula Cell Handling:
    Formula cells in Excel previews now display computed values correctly instead of [object Object]. Unsupported formulas or cross-sheet references are clearly shown with a placeholder.
  • Cleaner UI Experience:
    Removed unwanted horizontal scroll bars from the Recently Viewed and Favorites sections.
  • Customer Feedback UI Enhancements:
    Multiple UI improvements have been applied across Vince Live based directly on customer feedback.
  • M3 Filter Step Redesign:
    The “Show available fields” button has been replaced with a side panel, creating a more consistent experience between the M3 Filter and Excel steps.

App Builder

New Feature

  • Complete Prompt History:
    Prompt history now includes the full LLM interaction timeline — including AI responses, attachments, and uploaded files — making it much easier to debug, review, and collaborate on generated applications.

App Builder Fixes

  • Role Rules Now Work Correctly:
    In-app role permissions are now consistently enforced both in preview mode and at runtime.
  • Duplicate Resource Validation:
    Editing resources in an app now correctly prevents duplicate resource names and aliases.
  • Deleted Resource Recovery:
    Apps can now recover gracefully when referenced custom tables have been deleted, allowing stale resources to be removed directly from the UI.

This release improves platform stability, strengthens workflow reliability, and adds better tooling for debugging and managing AI-generated applications — all while continuing to refine the overall user experience based on customer feedback.
