Deploy VXL Live Excel Add-in (Sharepoint Online)
WARNING! THIS DEPLOYMENT METHOD IS NOT RECOMMENDED, DEPLOY USING THE ADMIN CENTRE INSTEAD.
Known issues and limitations
- Add-in Manifest must be manually updated
- The Add-in will be available for all users, it is not possible to restrict the deployment
- The Add-In is only made available to users, they must add the Add-In to Excel manually
- Deployments using Sharepoint is not tested by Vince, and provided as-is
Sharepoint Setup
Sign in to the Sharepoint Admin Center, and on the left hand site select More features → Apps

This will provision the Sharepoint app catalog, you might have to wait a little bit.
In the App Catalog, select classic experience

Write down the Catalog URL spesific to your M365 tenant. It is the part before (but not including) AgaveCatalog in the Adress Bar. It will look something like this:
https://<TENANT NAME>.sharepoint.com/sites/<APP CATALOGUE NAME>/
You will have to provide this url to your end users later.
On the left, select Apps for Office, then Upload → Files and select the .xml file

VXL Live should now be listed and will eventually be made available in Excel

NOTE: It might take up to 48 hours before the Add-in is fully available
User setup
Excel Web
Open an Excel Workbook. In the Home tab, select Add-ins → + More Add-ins

You should find the VXL Live Add-in under the My Organization tab

The My Organization tab and/or VXL Live Add-in might not be visible. This will likely resolve itself after a little while.
Enabling 3. party cookies might and/or disableing tracking prevention on the site might help.
Excel Desktop Client
In Excel, select File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings

Select Trusted Add-in Caltalogs, paste in the catalog URL spesific to your tenant
https://<TENANT NAME>.sharepoint.com/sites/<APP CATALOGUE NAME>/

You should now be able to add the VXL Live Add-in follwing the same steps for Excel Web
