From July 2030, all intra-community B2B transactions must use electronic invoices. These e-invoices need to follow a common EU standard format (EN-16931), enabling real-time digital reporting and cross-border transparency.
– European collaboration is getting stronger, and the newly adopted ViDA rules prove it, says Fredrik Heimerback, chief services officer at Vince.
The new reform means that e-invoicing won’t just be recommended, but mandatory.
– This will affect every EU business, so this really isn’t something you can ignore, warns Heimerback.
– Even if your company rarely trades across borders, the shift to standardized e-invoices and automated VAT reporting will touch your finance, IT and compliance processes. This is a change on a continental scale, and now is the time to prepare.
Luckily, the solution is closer than you might think. Especially if you’re using Infor M3 as your ERP system.

For Infor M3 companies, you can handle invoices, purchase orders and other business documents directly in the Vince platform. Vince is a certified Peppol access point, and comes with M3-ready integration.
– For starters, that means no external providers and minimal hassle, and at a very low price, explains Heimerback.
– On top of that, you get real-time monitoring of your business transactions in an intuitive dashboard, which no one else is doing at the moment. If there’s an error, you’ll know immediately.
