How Fredrik & Louisa kept their master data under control through a full ERP rollout

With over 50 stores across Norway plus an online shop, the company is known for a luxurious shopping experience built on personalized service and knowledgeable staff.

Brand new system, mountain of data

When Fredrik & Louisa implemented M3CE in 2022, the Master Data and Purchasing departments were starting completely fresh. There was a massive amount of master data to import and maintain, and nobody on the team had prior experience with M3.

That combination, new system and no history to lean on, made the early stage of the project a real bottleneck.

Bringing in Excel Add-In

To get through it, Fredrik & Louisa brought in Vince Excel Add-In to import and maintain master data inside M3CE. Randi, Master Data Manager at Fredrik & Louisa, was the first to pilot the tool, and it's remained essential to her team ever since.

According to Randi, Excel Add-In has been instrumental in keeping master data under control. With so many data points to manage, doing it without a tool like Excel Add-In would have been close to impossible, and the team wouldn't have been able to move at the pace the ERP project demanded.

Since then, both the Master Data and Purchasing departments have adopted Excel Add-In as part of their everyday workflow. Looking ahead, the company hopes Vince can make the API structure even more user-friendly, which would make the tool even more useful for the team.
