Scandi Standard is one of Europe’s leading chicken producers - brands like Kronfågel, Danpo, Naapurin Maalaiskana and Den Stolte Hane end up on dinner tables across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and beyond.

They run almost the full value chain themselves: breeding, farming, processing, distribution. That means multiple sites, multiple countries, and a lot of M3 data moving between them.

Too big for Excel and screen-hopping

Running the full chicken value chain across several countries means traceability isn't optional — it's a daily requirement, especially with audits and customer documentation always around the corner.

Before App Builder, answering a simple traceability question meant jumping between M3 and GLT, screen after screen. Slow. Stressful. Especially under pressure during audits.

Month-end close had its own bottleneck: waiting for BI to refresh, when finance needed the numbers now — across several countries' worth of data.

And PO planning still lived in Excel — hundreds of rows per supplier, per week, per site. Slow to update. Prone to crashing. Sometimes the whole thing had to start over from scratch.

One PO or MO number now pulls the full chain — upstream and downstream — into a single graphic view. No more switching between systems. Reports export straight to Excel or PDF, ready for audits or customer documentation.

2. Finance Reporting App

Built to solve one problem: finance needs live numbers, not last night's BI refresh. The app pulls directly from M3 via API — a P&L report plus three more GL-based reports the finance team uses constantly. Everything's visible in the app, and exportable to Excel.

3. Automated PO Proposal Tool

The newest build. What used to be a fragile, timeout-prone Excel process now has a working interface — built in 20 minutes. API connections are next.
