We're expanding our integration consulting team. Why? Because companies still waste time on manual processes that should take seconds, not hours.
Vince is strengthening its focus on integrations, and have hired several new consultants specializing on integrations. One of them is Fredrik Langeland.
– You make systems talk, right?
– Put simply, yes. Or connecting disparate systems to work as a unified whole, as I would say, smiles Langeland.
He’s been integrating and automating supply chains for Vince’s customers for well over a year now. And since companies are still wasting time on manual processes, he’s not going anywhere.
– Integration gives you so much more control over what’s going on in M3 and the systems around it. You can see your data more clearly, make informed decisions and work more efficiently. That’s what I want to pass on to our customers, he adds.

This used to take 3-5 minutes for each return. Now they’re done in 20 seconds. After 130 returns, that’s a full workday saved!"

M3 and everything else
Vince is most known for working with M3, and while that is definitely true, M3 rarely exists in a vacuum. A company running M3 will often run a bunch of other systems as well, and they usually want them to work together.
– Our platform can integrate M3 to any other system. Take a recent customer, for example. They have a transport system for all their goods going out to the stores. They were punching all this information into M3 manually.
– We integrated them, and now the information flows automatically, explains Langeland.

Straight from school
Fredrik Langeland joined Vince straight out of university, and says the learning curve has been steep.
– I’m really happy that I was given this opportunity. There was a lot to wrap my head around at first, but the role was also very flexible and open for interpretation. The people here are very skilled and genuinely helpful, which made me feel very welcome.
Coming straight from school also has its benefits, he says:
– You’re used to handling uncertainty and soaking up new knowledge quickly. And I think a lot of students have this innate drive to learn, which is super useful when you’re starting a new position.
Growing into new territories
– We are growing organically, and are present in over 40 countries today, explains Fredrik Heimerback, Vince’s Chief Services Officer.
And with growth, comes new opportunities. An area that touches on both automation, integration and entire supply chains is the electronic language for invoicing and business transactions: Peppol.
– We’re talking about integrating invoicing and business transactions with your ERP, and automating the whole process. And since this touches on so many aspects of companies’ supply chains, this basically means digitization and automation of entire supply chains, Fredrik emphasizes.
